A tamagotchi for android! Based on the old keychain pets from the 90s.
This app is inspired by the old Tamagotchi keychain pets from the 90s. What you do is care for a virtual pet like you would a real one, by taking care of its needs. You will need to feed it, play with it, wash it and discipline it. The buttons surrounding the pet are used to interact with it. As the tamadroid becomes older it will evolve, and what it turns into depends on how well you care for it. There are a total of 22 evolutions, can you find them all? Tip: Experiment with different levels of happiness, discipline and weight.This app runs an optional background service, so battery life is only affected if the service is enabled. Without the service, closing the app shuts it down like any other. The pets current state on shutdown is saved, and when the app is reopened it calculates what the pet did in the meantime. You can turn off your phone and use it as usual of course. By accessing the settings menu you can choose when the pet sleeps and wakes up, the desired background image and whether evolutions should be random, among other things. You can also pause the pet, if you need some time off.*To those complaining the app has frozen: Your pet has died when it either becomes a tombstone or an angel, and you can no longer feed or play with it. At this point you should reset it.*Translations are currently available in English, Spanish, French, German, Italian and Norwegian. Very cute! it has satisfied my nostalgic tamagotchi craving lol i love that i can pause it if im working and such. i found the animations for feeding and stuff are fairly slow and cant be skipped, so if the pet is very hungry it takes a long time to fix that, which only sucks during short breaks (pause feature 👌) it keeps the pixel look of OG tama, which would have been better in a smaller screen. a home widget would be cute too!
Loving this. You should toltaly put a widget on this thing so we can see and feed it on our home screen. Maybe add an option to make our own backgrounds and sprites for our pet to evolve into.
Playing the game is broken. No longer able to choose between the two and the default game is lose lose. No to receive a positive result and increase pets happiness. App worked A-1 before update broke it. Galaxy s10
I do not get any kind of notifications even though I have everything set correctly.
My expirience is immesurable and my day is ruined
It's as much like a Tamagotchi as I can remember. The only problem is I'm not getting notifications.
I love this, it is very reminiscent of the old Tamagotchi, but with some differences. It does seem to ask for attention a bit more, mine is still young so it might just be more needy right now than it will be later. Also, it seems to change form more than the real thing. Mine isn't a day old yet and he changed twice. The game you can play with it is basic but I think an improvment over the guessing game. The happiness works differently as well. It's not a clone of the original toy. Bandai Namco has their own Tamagotchi app if thats what you want. I actually like this a bit better because I can set when he sleeps to fit my own sleep patterns.
Feel like a kid again!
Tried it out for a couple days only to see how it isn't like the original tamagotchi and I would like a refund.
Add a shop, and a travel feature plz
